100-Pack
The working box for a busy operatory — ready to go, no prep, no reprocessing. Order direct, or through your dealer.
LinguaGuard attaches directly to the vented end of your HVE straw, combining tongue retraction and suction into a single device to improve visibility and streamline procedures.

Holding the tongue clear with a mirror while running suction ties up both hands and breaks your rhythm. LinguaGuard does the retraction for you — clipped onto the straw you're already using.
Spin the HVE straw into the sleeve until it locks. No extra tubing, no setup, no new equipment to learn.
A curved wrap design retracts and protects soft tissue while the HVE does its job — safely and comfortably.
Designed for the vented end of standard high-volume evacuation straws. Universal by design — nothing proprietary.
From the pack to chairside in one motion — and it leaves with the waste, not your time.
Full instructions for useSpin the HVE straw into the LinguaGuard sleeve until the vent hole aligns with the tab and locks in place.
Curve the retractor away from the tip of the straw and seat it gently against the tongue.
Suction and retraction now happen together — your assistant keeps a hand free for the procedure.
Spin counterclockwise to remove. Single-use — discard in a clinical waste container.

Five LinguaGuards to put on your next few patients and feel the one-hand difference before you stock up.
Holding the tongue with a mirror and the suction with the other hand left you with no more hands to use. Not anymore.

LinguaGuard was created by Dr. Keith Gressell — a Temple-trained dentist who served with the US Army Dental Corps — out of a simple frustration: managing the tongue with a mirror while running suction took both hands and slowed everything down.
His answer was one apparatus that delivers the protection, stability, and suction of two instruments and two hands.
